Life’s a little sweeter

Lives of animals around the country were made a little sweeter on the annual SPCA Cupcake Day last Wednesday – even Neville the rabbit got involved at Nelson’s SPCA.

As his volunteer carers were busy in the city selling cupcakes to raise vital funds for the organisation, he was taunting his three siblings with his delicious cupcakes, even though he was only allowed the tiniest of nibbles before being coaxed back to his pellets – a much healthier option.

Neville arrived at the SPCA roughly four months ago along with his siblings, after his parents, who were thought to be two females, turned out not to be.
